Analogue-digital and sports models

The NF9163 puts analogue hands over an LCD that runs an alarm, a stopwatch and the date. The 7104 is a 45 mm digital with an alarm, hourly chime, stopwatch and backlight, rated 5 bar and weighing 59 g. The women's NF7109 is a 35 mm analogue-digital in a translucent rose-gold case.

Choosing a size

The men's watches wear large. The NF8023, NF9038, NF9163 and NF9202L measure 44 to 49 mm across and 12 to 15.5 mm thick, so check your wrist size before you order. The NF9163 suits wrists of about 17 cm and up. The women's watches are 32 to 35 mm, including two 32 mm dress watches on mesh (NF5004, NF5013) and the 33 mm NF5061 on a silicone strap.

Water resistance and materials

Seven of the nine are rated 3 bar, which rules out showers; only the 7104 and NF7109 are rated 5 bar. None has a stainless steel case. They are zinc alloy, alloy or plastic, and the NF8023's maker says only "metal". Four are listed with a Japanese quartz movement, but the maker doesn't name it.
