The Sugess S387 1963 is a hand-wound mechanical chronograph on the Tianjin Seagull ST1901 column-wheel movement, with a sapphire crystal and a stainless steel case in 38 or 40 mm. Its design follows the 1960s Chinese air force pilot's chronograph that gives the model its 1963 name.
You wind it by hand each morning, which is part of the appeal. The white dial with black sub-dials reads clearly at a glance.

Questions
Does the Sugess S387 wind itself?
No. The ST1901 is hand-wound. Turn the crown until you feel resistance, ideally at the same time each day.
Should I choose the 38 mm or 40 mm Sugess S387?
38 mm is closer to the original 1960s size and suits wrists under about 17 cm. 40 mm wears more like a modern chronograph.
